1. Agreement to Terms
By booking a trekking or tour activity with Green Nomad Treks and Tours, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Green Nomad Treks and Tours and the trekker (you) and outline the responsibilities, rights, and obligations of both parties.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made in advance, with a completed booking form and a deposit payment.
  • A non-refundable deposit of RM500 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
  • The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks before the start of the departure date/trekking date.
  • Payments can be made via Visioncar Global Holidays Sdn Bhd bank Account.
  • Failure to pay the full balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel your trekking or tour, the following refund policy applies:
    • Cancellation more than 60 days before departure/Trekking date:
      75% of total deposit will be refunded.  

    • Cancellation 60 -14 days before departure/Trekking date:

    • 50%of total deposit will be refunded. 

    • Cancellation 14 days or less before departure date: 

                  No Refund will be Provided

If the Flight ticket charges included in the package, the refund amount will be based on the penalty by the airlines and terms and conditions applied to the ticket by the Airlines.

4. Cancellation by Green Nomad Treks and Tours
In the rare case that Green Nomad and Tours  needs to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, natural disasters, political instability, or other circumstances beyond our control), we will offer the following options:

  • Alternative Date:
    You may choose to reschedule your tour for an alternative date, subject to availability.

  • Full Refund:
    If an alternative date is not suitable, we will provide a full refund for the amount paid.

4. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed within 30-45 days after the cancellation is confirmed.
  • Refunds will be made via the same method used for the original payment.
  • Refunds may be subject to bank processing fees or other charges, which will be deducted from the total refund amount.
  • Any non-refundable deposit or administrative fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

5. No-Show or Early Departure

  • If you fail to show up for your scheduled tour or leave the tour early for any reason, no refund will be issued.
  • If you miss the tour departure due to your own fault (e.g., late arrival at the meeting point), no refund will be provided.

6. Modifications to the Booking

  • Any changes to the booking (such as changing the tour date or transferring the booking to another person) must be made at least 15 days prior to the tour departure. Changes may be subject to additional charges.
  • Changes made less than 15 days before the tour departure may not be allowed.

7. Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that you purchase travel and trekking insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, Helicopter evacuation and trip interruption. This will ensure that you are covered in the event of unexpected circumstances.

8. Special Circumstances

  • In cases of illness, emergencies, or other special circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. While we may not be able to provide a full refund, we will work with you to find a fair solution where possible.
