Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake is a combination of classical trekking journeys in the Annapurna region which takes you to the highest situated Tilicho Lake 4,949m and Thorong La Pass 5,416m. The trek offers you panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna I, II, III, IV, Mt. Machhapuchre, Tilicho Peak, and many others.
This is a challenging trek yet rewarding. You will explore the unique culture and traditions of Hindus and Buddhists and wander around
the deepest Kali Gandaki gorge, the picturesque valleys like Manang, Muktinath, Jomsom, etc, and experience the change

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu
Namaste and welcome! Upon your arrival today, one of our representatives will greet you at the airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Thamel.
In the evening, you will meet your guide, who will provide a brief overview of the trekking itinerary. After that, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Thamel at your leisure.
Day 02 : Sight Seeing in Kathmandu
Today is significant as we will obtain the trekking permit for the Annapurna Circuit trek. Meanwhile, you can enjoy a wonderful day in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. You’ll have the chance to explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), as well as various monasteries, historic royal palaces, and courtyards.

Day 3 : Drive to Besisahar
Today, you will travel by vehicle to Besisahar. The journey will take approximately 6 to 7 hours as you pass through stunning mountain landscapes, primarily driving alongside the river. Upon arrival in Besisahar, you will check in at the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) office. You will spend the night in Besisahar.

Day 04 : Drive to Dharapani
After an early breakfast, you will take a local jeep to Dharapani, passing through Chamje village. The route will take you through fields of barley, rice, and potatoes, as well as scenic waterfalls. You will spend the night in Dharapani.

Day 05 : Trek to Chame
This marks the first day of your trek. After breakfast, you'll embark on a morning walk along a winding path through bush and pine forests, passing by Bagarchhap and Danaque villages. You'll then tackle a steep ascent for a few hours to reach Timang village, which offers stunning views of Manaslu, Lamjung, and Annapurna II.
From Timang, you'll descend briefly and then ascend again, ultimately arriving in Chame for an overnight stay. Chame is a significant town in the Manang district.

Day 06 : Trek to Pisang
The adventure continues as you depart from Chame, moving into cooler areas closer to the mountains. Your morning walk takes you through the lush alpine forest filled with bush and pine trees, following the Marshyangdi River. You'll encounter brief uphill and downhill stretches that lead you to Bhartang village.
After Bhartang, you'll cross a bridge over the rushing Marysangdi River and ascend through alpine woodlands, enjoying views of Chulu and Pisang peaks. Around lunchtime, you’ll reach a small settlement near Dukuripokhari. In the afternoon, you'll walk on level ground to lower Pisang village for an overnight stay, passing rows of prayer wheels along the way, with close views of Pisang and Annapurna II peaks.
Day 07 : Trek to Manang
The day begins with a short walk that gradually climbs into beautiful forests filled with pine trees and bushes. You'll then descend to Hongde, a village with a small airport, where the tree line starts to diminish, giving way to barren and dry land.
(Alternatively, you may choose to trek along the higher path through Ghyaru and Ngawal villages, which offer stunning mountain views of Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Lamjung Himal, Tilicho Himal, Gangapurna, Pisang Peak, and Chulu Peak.)
The trek continues to Manang village, providing excellent mountain vistas. Along the way, we will stop to visit the ancient Braga, which houses historic Buddhist relics. After that, we’ll trek for another hour to reach Manang village, where we will spend the night.

Day 08 : Rest day at Manang
After several days of continuous trekking, you will spend today in Manang for acclimatization. This day is crucial for helping you adjust to the altitude, as you will be ascending to 4,700 meters in the coming days.
We will take a side hike to Gangapurna Lake and explore the surrounding villages, enjoying the stunning views. You can also visit the Himalayan Rescue Association Clinic. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 : Trek to Shree Kharka
After an enjoyable and exciting day in Manang village, our trek continues to the highlight of this trip: Tilicho Lake. From Manang, we will divert from the main Annapurna Circuit trail to reach Khangsar, the last village of Manang on the way to Tilicho Lake. From Khangsar, we will ascend to Shree Kharka, where we will stay overnight.

Day 10 : Trek to Tilicho Base Camp
Today features another short day of trekking as we enter a more barren and windswept area. After a brief descent, we will climb uphill, gaining altitude as we make our way to Tilicho Base Camp for an overnight stay before visiting the highest lake.

Day 11 : Hike to Tilicho Lake and trek back to Shree Kharka
In the early morning, you will hike to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world. At times, the reflections of the surrounding peaks can be seen on its turquoise waters, while at other times, the lake may be completely frozen. Take a moment to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.
After a memorable visit to Tilicho Lake, you will return to Base Camp. Following lunch at Base Camp, you will retrace your steps along the same trail to Shree Kharka for an overnight stay.

Day 12 : Trek to Yak Kharka
From here, you will head back to the main Annapurna Circuit trail at Yak Kharka. Along the way, you'll see many yaks grazing and resting nearby. Continue your walk until you cross the bridge over the river between Gumsang and Yak Kharka, where you will stay overnight.

Day 13 : Trek to Thorong Phedi 4,500m or Thorong High Camp
After an early breakfast, we will head towards Thorang Phedi for a brief stop to acclimatize to the high altitude. From there, we will ascend steeply along a zig-zag path for about an hour to reach our highest overnight stop of the journey at Thorang High Camp, situated at an altitude of 4,925 meters. Staying at High Camp offers a significant advantage for crossing the high Thorang La Pass the following morning, allowing us to conserve both energy and time.

Day 14 : Trek to Muktinath crossing Thorong La Pass 5,416m
A big day awaits! This is the main highlight of our incredible adventure! After an early breakfast, we will begin our gradual and lengthy ascent to Thorang La Pass along a winding path, reaching the highest point at 5,416 meters. This marks the pinnacle of our journey, offering stunning views of Dhaulagiri, Thorang Peak, and the Chulus and Damodar Himal in Mustang.
After this exhilarating experience, we will start our long descent to a small settlement known as Phedi. From there, we’ll follow a pleasant path for about an hour to reach Muktinath for our overnight stay. Muktinath is a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists, with the name “Muktinath” meaning “the place of Nirvana or Liberation.” Here, you can explore the temple grounds featuring 108 holy waterspouts while enjoying breathtaking views of the north face of Dhaulagiri.

Day 15 : Trek to Jomsom
Today, our trek begins with a descent to Kagbeni, where we will drop 990 meters through meadows, streams, and fruit trees, including peach orchards. Afterward, we will continue our descent to Jomsom (more accurately known as Dzongsam, meaning "new fort"). We will spend the night in Jomsom.

Day 16 : Drive to Pokhara or (Fly to Pokhara)
After your adventurous journey, you will drive back to the beautiful city of Pokhara for an overnight stay. You’ll have time to relax and enjoy your time in Pokhara.
(Alternatively, you can take a direct flight to Pokhara, which takes just 20 minutes.)

Day 17 : Drive to Kathamndu
In the early morning, you will drive back to Kathmandu. Once you arrive, you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon will be free for you to engage in individual activities, whether you wish to shop for souvenirs or enjoy the vibrant urban atmosphere of Kathmandu after two weeks spent in the tranquil and remote mountains.

Day 18 : Departure back to home
If today is your departure day, one of our representatives will take you to the airport according to your flight schedule. With sweet memories to cherish, we will bid you farewell, hoping to see you again in the future.
